언제나 그 자리에 있었던, 언제나 내주위에 있었던, 매일같이 항상 있었던...
그런데 왜! 몰랐을까 그 매력을, 살펴보면 촌스럽기까지한 그 모습과 그 풍경, 매일 똑 같은 그 자리를 지키던, 하지만 시간의 흐름에 따라 조금씩 변해가는 아주 밑밑한, 하지만 묘한 느낌에 살펴보면 그냥 그런, 그런데 그기에서 알 수 없는 작은 매력을 느끼는건, 뭐지? 이런감정! 감각이 무지 촌스러운가!!!

항상 생각합니다. 잘팔리는 그림, 누구나 , 전공자와 비전공자 그리고, 남녀노소를 막론하고 좋아하는 그림, 잘 그린그림, 세련된 그림, 멋진 그림, 위대한 그림,,,등등등이 모든 것을 충족할 수 있을 만한 작품을 그리려는 소망 ...그림을 업으로 삼으려는 사람이나 업인사람은 한번쯤 생각해봤음직한 것들이 아닐까?...

항상 그 자리에 있었지만 우리가 그냥 지나쳤던 그 풍경들, 일상의 풍경들, 그 속에서 느꼈던 나만의작은 매력, 나의 붓을 이끌 게 했던 그 알 수 없는 도깨비같은 힘이 느껴졌던 풍경을 혹시나 공감할 수 있을까? 그런 작은 매력을 가진 풍경들을 찾고 싶었습니다.
그 모든 것에서 비록 공감할 수 없는 부분이 많겠지만, 나를 느낄 수 있는, 느끼려고 하는 사람이 있을거라 믿습니다. 나를 이해 시키고 싶지는 않습니다. 하지만 나를 이해하는, 이해하고픈 이들이 있을거라 믿습니다.
작지만 위대한 그들을 위해, 이 모든 작품 ...
